A forklift drum lifter helps operators pick up, move and position drums without placing a pallet beneath each one. This attachment is designed for compatible 205 L steel drums and uses an automatic clamping action to grip the drum’s upper rolling rim.

How the Drum Lifter Works

The forklift approaches the drum with the attachment positioned at the correct height. As the forklift moves forward, the clamp arms engage with the drum. Raising the forks secures the grip for lifting and transport. To release the drum, the operator lowers it onto a stable surface and carefully reverses the forklift. The drum must have a sound, compatible rim, and the operator should confirm the attachment has engaged correctly before lifting. Always check the drum’s weight against the attachment and forklift capacities.
