1000kg Two-Pad Mechanical Vacuum Lifter for Steel Plate
The Victory Sentinel VSM-1000-2 is a 1000kg mechanical vacuum lifter for horizontal handling of suitable flat steel sheets and plates. Its two 450mm suction pads are positioned across a 1500 × 450mm frame, providing two contact points for loads that need more support than a single-pad lifter can provide.
The lifter creates vacuum through its mechanical lifting action. It requires no battery, electrical connection or compressed air supply. When suspended from a suitable crane or hoist, it can lift and position material in fabrication workshops and industrial facilities.

How the VSM-1000-2 Works
Position both suction pads flat against the load. As the crane raises the lifting point and tensions the chain, the mechanical system creates a vacuum to grip the material. Once the load is positioned and fully supported, lower the lifter and fully slacken the chain to release it.
Both pads must make suitable contact before lifting. The load must also remain adequately supported and stable throughout the movement.
Choosing the Right Pad Arrangement
Two pads can provide support across a longer area than a single suction pad. However, the 1000kg rating alone does not establish that a particular plate is suitable. You must assess its dimensions, thickness, stiffness, surface condition, and centre of gravity, along with the pad positions and the crane or hoist.
