Gravity roller conveyor frame and roller kits are used to move products along a conveyor using gravity. When choosing a gravity conveyor, several factors should be considered to ensure that the product stays straight on the conveyor. It is recommended that at least 3 rollers are in contact with the product at all times to determine the spacing between rollers that will work best in your situation. The weight and type of product being moved will also help determine which type of rollers to use, such as nylon, steel, rubber or poly coated rollers. The carrying capacity for the different types of roller conveyor are:
Nylon Rollers: 290mm – 40kg, 450mm – 30kg, and 600mm – 20kg each roller
The conveyor frames come in 3 different widths 290mm, 450mm, and 600mm and are available in either 1.5m or 3.0m lengths. The conveyor legs are sold separately, and each frame will require at least 2 legs. If these standard sizes and capacities do not meet your requirements, a conveyor can be custom manufactured to suit your needs.
